Sunset 4 November - Leanne Till
Beautiful colours reflected on the many different buildings and so much greenery among the city’s structures. A definite must to see the city from this viewpoint.

Although the city and landscape have hardly changed over the last 30 years or so, it’s the attitude of the people in Hull and how the outside world views this fantastically unique place that has dramatically changed for the better.

The peace was amazing, the sights were mind blowing. Never seen Hull from this perspective; it’s awesome. The sense of peace and calm was invigorating.

Great sense of adventure provided by the estuary – all that maritime history that changed the world. Fascinating to watch the river traffic.

Then the sun began to set and it totally embraced me. At one point it felt as if it was setting just for me.

This is such a beautiful city and landscape. Industrious, creative, imprisoned by the sea. I love it.

The sky was beautiful, a crack in the grey that slowly zipped itself up to hide the sun, a band of pinky purple right round the city, the river bending its way around us all, keeping us in.
26/11/21
Peaceful, calm, a bright sunrise in the East. A rainbow, grey skies and angry wind in the West. Little me, in the middle, keeping watch over them both.

An absolutely brilliant way to spend an hour’s time on All Hallows Eve. Gorgeous and sunny before it dipped behind the clouds.
26/11/21
Just caught the last tendrils of the sunrise. Wind swirling around the cube.
26/11/21
Bright. Warmth from autumnal sun. Blue sky. Windmills. River. Ships. Cars. Sirens. Birds. Wind. Weather vane.
26/11/21
Seeing the sun peek from between the clouds and illuminate the city, reflected on the Wilberforce statue to the west and the water to the east.
26/11/21
Watching the boats and the birds, the autumn colours in the trees, the people below unaware of my vigil.
26/11/21
Saw the city come to life – made me feel so proud to be from Hull. This is a beautiful city – even the ‘dirty old river’ fills me with pride.

A dull and rainy-looking sky
Was that an hour that just went by?
15/11/21
My favourite view was over Queens Gardens and beyond. Amazing how many trees you can see over Hull.
15/11/21
I see the Wilberforce statue and the bridge on the river, the water is murky it makes me shiver.
15/11/21
A lovely sunrise with amazing views from Humber Bridge to the mouth of the Humber.
15/11/21
Thank you for the opportunity to experience the sights and sounds of the city as the sun descended to the west.

One, looking east, the industrial furnace of Hull. Docks and light/heavy industry and communication with Europe.
