Sunrise 2 November - Paula Litten

Intense.

Silence at the beginning but slowly building cacophony.

Gulls squawking, geese migrating, crows cawing.

Imprisoned by own will but my mind is roaming free.

This is such a beautiful city and landscape.  Industrious, creative, imprisoned by the sea.  I love it.

Expansive and sprawling rolling into the sea or The Wolds.  I think of all of my friends and family yet to witness this new day.

Made me realise how small I am in so many ways but together we (I) am powerful and can catalyse change.  This place was once fields after all.

Time stood still and almost elongated as my Vigil passed.  I felt serene and calm observing life below.

A thought-provoking experience which will stay with me.
