Sunset 4 December - Lesley Edwards

I saw the underside of the helicopter – fairly close – the back of a seagull’s head, came eye to eye with another that seemed the size of an albatross, but the teeny white telephone box was too small to be picked up by my ginormous finger and thumb!

Sunrise 4 December - Pamela Clark

So much to see and take in, from the slow build-up of activity on the streets, the changing colours as the sun rose above the river and the wheeling seagulls all around.

First I want to thank all the team, particularly John and Hanna. It was a very wonderful experience away from the noise and technology. I wish you more success.

Sunset 2 December - Kate Hunt

A clear, crisp winter afternoon, a dusting of snow across the city. A city often referred to as the end of the line but, for me today, not the end nor the beginning but part of the on-going circle of life.

Sunrise 2 December - Andy Currie

Sunrise (apparently!). Four seasons in one hour: cloudy but clear, snow, sleet, rain, shafts of light occasionally appearing through the clouds lighting up small patches of the Humber.

Slowly everything became clear and sharp. Though some things I lost as I was sure they were two boats sat on the horizon.

Sunset 30 November - Chelsea Baxter

I’ve heard people describe Hull as the end of the line. And it is, but not in a bad way. Hull has so many beautiful gems if they’d only take the time to look.

The box was warm so it was pleasant on this cold day. I had dizziness last year and it went until a few months ago. So this is a challenge for me.

Sunrise 29 November - David Eldridge

But then, just as my time was ending, the sun hit the west side and united the two sides of the pod, as light flared reflected in the pond of Queen’s Gardens, a strip of bright white-gold; reflected too in the ice near Maritime Museum.

Often I was transported to other worlds in the clouds. Mostly I was fixated on the colours, shapes, patterns and formations they provided.

Sunrise 28 November - Michael Barnes-Wynters

A very clear, peaceful mind which initially explored the cityscape (East and West) in front of me.
A kaleidoscope of thoughts of past > present > and future.

On a windy, wet, cloud swept day I ventured out to step and stand alongside the stony silent statue of William W. He represented the changes he had made to the city in terms of freedom and a new mindset.

I feel very lucky to experience the sunset; the weather was perfect. As the sun went down it seemed to take the clouds with it, the wind must have come from the North East.

Perhaps it was no coincidence that the viewing point and direction of view was at the same height and direction as William Wilberforce is looking, keeping watch over the City. I wondered how much he has seen it change.
