Sunset 4 July 2021 - ADAM PECKITT

When you’re left alone in an observation booth, you’re also left alone with your thoughts as well as noticing small details within the landscape that catch your eye.  For example, Humber Bridge would define to many people as ‘home’ whilst coming back from a journey outside of Hull.

Though it was a bit cloudy, there was still a sunset to observe as the sun goes to sleep for a bit.  Whilst being in the observation booth it gives you time to reflect on what’s happened and with what’s to come in the future.  Times like this, it gives you time to appreciate how far you have come, despite having obstacles in the way that needed to be tackled.
