Sunset 27 March - Isabelle Tracy

Oh, what a time to remember I have a little vertigo!  The box moves, slightly . . . .  As light fades, perspectives shift.  A previously unnoticed building becomes the dominant silhouette.  People, like postmen, go from place to place.  Bricks, studio, seagulls, insects.  Old friends of buildings, memories of Grandad, Granny, Mum, all the family, our relationship to this place.  The Albemarle Plan, the geometric shapes of Queen’s Gardens, the pieces of dock in my garden, my Mum’s office at Hull College.  Mist waves in the sunset like smoke.  The gaps in the buildings.  The Co-op canopy.  Chimneys.  The lights, lighting up.
