. . . And so, step by step the sun just slid behind the hills.  It was a most unique and rewarding experience spending time just looking, watching and reflecting.  Ironically, it was nature that grabbed me as much as anything.  The gulls were screeching and circling below me and hundreds of little gnats danced in front of my eyes.  A crescent moon hung above Queens Gardens which seemed appropriate as I watched our crescent city.
