Sunset 13 March - Amy Porter

I really got a sense of how vulnerable Hull is next to the expanse of the Humber with the Wolds the other side.  I could also really feel the history of this lovely city and was imagining what it was like when my Granny worked in an office next to Princes Dock.  I imagine the noise level wouldn’t have been quite as peaceful as it was tonight. 

I am a sucker for a sunset.  They always make me smile.  And this will never be toppled from the number one spot on the ‘most random way I have viewed a sunset’ list.  The changing light across the Wolds and layers of buildings was beautiful.  I thought of all the other people across the world who were watching the same sun today and I hope that it also made them smile.
