Sunrise 8 June 2021 - Charlie Burkitt
I listened to the seagulls. I watched a couple of ships make their way up the Humber – I could see the area where I was born and grew up. It made me think of my childhood. It also made me think of all the changes to Hull during my lifetime and how short a life we actually have. (Cheery, eh?). The pod is a good place to contemplate the reason we are here and what we should be doing. It was a good experience. The sun was late. Hiding behind a cloud bank for a while, but when it appeared fully the changing light in the city was beautiful.
