Sunrise 28 December - Jack Chamberlain

An hour to reflect upon my 10 years in Hull so far and think about how far the city has come as well as myself.  It is rare to have such an opportunity to look back on my Hull journey since coming to Hull Uni in 2011 and I found this experience to be very cathartic. 

On this rainy, foggy morning I loved being able to see more of the city as the sun rose, the fog lifted and the fog of my own memories cleared.  I watched a city steeped in history and pride, the sounds of the seagulls and birds never seeming so pronounced.  I also watched a city with a future, however affected by what has come before and what is to come, and one that I am proud to be a part of.  This was a joyous experience and one that I shall treasure forever.
