Sunrise 24 March - Jacqueline Bannister

Wow!  When I first entered the box it was slightly foggy to the east but this did not detract from the amazing view of the beautiful sunrise.

After looking out over the city which was gently waking, I received confirmation that Hull is understated, secretly pleasing, never showy but always breathtaking!

My very wise late father-in-law was a scaffolder by trade and worked on many of the post-war buildings seen on Hull’s skyline today.  ‘Look up,’ he would say when walking around the city centre.

You were right, Mr B; the view from above is spectacular!
