Sunrise 21 October - Sarah Paton

What an amazing way to start the day!  It felt optimistic to choose to watch the dawn of a new day but unexpectedly the moon was the main event. 

I had two shows – the full moon and purple clouds to the west and the sun trying to peep above the clouds in the east.

Sad when the light came and the moon faded away for another day.  But replaced with the brightness of the sun and the sparkling of the water and buildings.

Felt privileged to be able to watch (and be watched?) from such a vantage point.  Maybe I’ll do it again from lower down.
