Sunrise 21 November - Robert Taylor

I kept watch over the city on a chilly Sunday morning.  To the east the sunrise was obscured by a clump of grey cloud, an orange/pink glow hinting of what was hidden behind.  I saw the overnight ferry pirouetting slowly in the river, framed by the tall columns of the wind farm assemblies.

To the west, clear blue skies with a silver, almost full moon hung in the heavens.  A man sits on a bench in Queen’s Gardens, his dog playing wildly on the grass.

All too soon my hour is up but just before the sun finally emerges, illuminating the city that is emerging from its slumber.

 Thank you for the experience.
