Sunrise 17 January - Laura Beddows

I hadn’t expected to see the full moon; I had been hoping for a beautiful sunrise and wasn’t disappointed.  The view to the east was warm yellow and orange and the sun gradually rose up over the Humber.  I was equally awed, if not more so, by the full moon in the west – the full round moon in the cool pink blue sky in that direction was beautiful and I found it hard to pull myself away from watching it descend below the horizon.  I feel very lucky to have watched both a sunrise and a ‘moon-set’.
