Sunrise 11 June 2021 - John Whitton

To spend an hour just in silence watching over the city was quite an experience. I don’t usually take time out to appreciate my surroundings, especially in the place I have lived my whole life. I was surprised how many trees I could see as usually the city feels like a concrete jungle. During the hour I was more drawn to looking out to the west of the city. Not sure why as it was a beautiful sunrise to the east but the west just seemed more tranquil and at rest. I even squeezed in the smallest waltz in the box I have ever done as that is my hobby.
