Sunset 9 July 2021 - ALISON IRWING

From the moment I entered the box until the second I left – I smiled!

What an experience, what a privilege, from the celestial rays at the beginning of the vigil to the ball of bright red that glowed in the sky enveloped in strands of wispy clouds that gradually disappeared out of sight at the end of almost showing the curves of our beautiful planet.

I saw builds and green areas that I didn’t know existed until tonight.

We live in a beautiful city full of architecture and history and interesting people, not allowing me to feel lonely in my solitude.

I feel different, I feel privileged, I feel proud.  I feel at peace.
