So many times over the years I’ve watched the Humber Bridge fade away in the rear view mirror and yet today, as the darkness rolled in, the Bridge became clearer.  The gateway to my hometown, welcoming me, reminding me of why I’m here.

 

The wind picked up, bringing with it the sounds of the city, moving the water, testing my resilience and the resilience of a city as strong as its people.  Steadfast in wars, floods and pandemics.

 

In that box, the city is wrapped around you.  You are reminded of every beautiful moment with the people you love and the streets that made you.
