What a great way to end my birthday!  It was a privilege to be able to watch over my adopted city as the sun went down.  Fabulous cloud formations which unfortunately covered the sun actually setting.  However, the sun’s rays gave the clouds to the east a beautiful colouring.

Watching the city from the shelter gave me yet another perspective on the city and its buildings.  Hull never ceases to amaze and surprise me!  I felt an air of serenity and peacefulness during my hour.  I love new experiences and this one was certainly special.

Thank you Freedom Festival for bringing this whole experience to Hull.  Another first for the UK in Hull!!  And I was part of it!?!
