I used to live in the top of a building.  This reminded me of those times.  From the window in the roof you could see people who never looked up and a crossroads of slow-moving traffic.  I always seemed to be waiting for something back then.  But the waiting held possibilities.  This was all in a time before mobile phones and other technologies telling us what we really don’t need to know immediately.  I think we are forgetting how to wait.
