Sunset 3 June 2021 - Kyra Piperides

How amazing to spend an hour where all you can do is watch over the city, seeing all the things you wouldn’t usually notice.  How – from above – the city has its own history: the architecture, the height of the trees, and even the distribution of the lichens on the roofs.  To watch over the people too is a joy; observing people on their own adventures with the time to be curious about their stories.  Where are they going?  What are they thinking and feeling?  It makes you realise how much you miss when you don’t take the time to really see.  A seagull flew past and a pigeon and many tiny flies.  A big fluffy bumble bee came right up to the window to say hi.  How nice to meet him.
