Sunset 26 February - Jean Brown

What an honour to watch the sunset over my beloved Hull.  The city I was born into 81 years ago. 

One hour’s reflection thinking of those gone before and those still here.  How lucky I have been in life. 

I’ve never watched a sunset totally before: all the amazing colours as it slowly slips down and goes to sleep. 

How fortunate I am to have had this experience.  Looking down I saw Maister House and thought about the ships he had built many years ago.  Pity his clock doesn’t work. 

Also looking down on one of our famous forefathers, William Wilberforce, and all he stood for.
