Watching the rainbow fade over the River Hull and the P & O Ferry depart out along the Humber to Rotterdam, I felt this was a fitting farewell to my life in the city of Hull.  With retirement pending to the countryside, I was able to reflect on all the building that had been part of my family’s life in the city, from school years to my own studies at Hull School of Art and my husband’s work at Hull Royal Hospital. 

 What a privilege to see the city from the rooftop and to take part in the vigil over Hull.  Thank you.
