Sunset 14 April - Emma Dolman

The first thing that struck me as I entered the vigil was the noise. The bustle of people, cars and birds heading on their journey home.  And then I realised I was not alone . . . a small insect was looking for a way to escape, a route out to the sun.

It was a stunning sunset that grew redder and redder as time went on.  A true privilege to watch alone (well, almost), knowing that its rise was witnessed by my best friend earlier today.

I made it out of the vigil.  I hope my friend did too.
