Sunset 12 September - Pete Lonsdale

I’d hoped for a glorious sunset but all I had were clouds.  That didn’t matter in the end as the view was fantastic. 

 I thought that this would be a time for me to reflect and think deeply.  That didn’t happen either as I was far too engrossed in studying all the details of the city that the vantage point had given me. 

 Watching the dog walkers, cyclists, birds, footballing kids, the changing light and listening to the hum of traffic and distant sirens, the time didn’t go slowly.  It was over before I realised. 

 No time for reflection, but happy to have been part of something that not many get a chance to do.
