Sunset 11 November - James Rushworth

The Vigil gave me a great chance for peace, following birds migrating South – eyes peeled to the breaks on rooftops.  From this distance, the City below seemed anonymous, an endless drift of lights and shapes.

The haze of the afternoon justified and contextualised living presently.  Without any perceptions beyond the natural, the distances fade into memory.
