Sunset 11 July 2021 - STUART CUTTS

Seeing the City on a football match night added something extra, from the near constant crowd noise to the occasional roar and car horns.  I hadn’t expected to see so many peeing against walls, using a phone box for other than its use.

The creaking made me aware of the location but the feeling of the wood comforted me.  Seeing seagulls right in front of me outside hovering was amazing.  To be in a bubble, enjoying the light changing to the flickering of the lights in the car park, shafts of sunlight penetrating the clouds was stunning to see.

The city was so empty yet full of noise.

What an amazing experience.
