Sunrise 8 October - Graham Harkness

A clear sunrise over the docks.  A ship making slow, hazy progress to the mouth of the Humber, pink clouds on a blue sky; both of which could have been painted and hung in the Ferens.  Then struck by many happy memories as the view over this unique city was illuminated, including (thankfully) at least two white telephone boxes.  And how green it is, especially to the north and west, where the university library and the embryonic fairground rise above the leafy streets.  One hour was not long enough.
