Sunrise 8 July 2021 - JAMES EPWORTH

I really enjoyed the first part of the experience; walking to the box and acclimatizing to the height.  It’s quite a view at first. 

Then the mind wanders.  To the right I thought of the great nights I’d had in Hull, football matches and protests in Queen’s Gardens.  To the left the industrial city.  The blade factory is stunning and there was an orange glow over the Wolds as the sun rose.

It was a great opportunity to see parts of the City from a different viewpoint and also reflect on the wonderful times the City has given me.

Thanks to Freedom and the Companions.  What a brilliant project.
