Sunrise 4 June 2021 - Mark Cooper

A quiet, still morning with very little cloud except for a thin line on the eastern horizon.  Because of that, the Sun was a bright red/orange with only parts of it breaking through the clouds until, with only about 10 minutes left of my vigil, it broke through sending rays of light across the city, lighting up the buildings and roof tops of Hull.  A terrific experience.  An hour alone in a small space with just the sounds of the morning and people starting their day was a real pleasure.
