Sunrise 31 August - Nerice Jackson

Sepia tones being washed by light like a damp cloth over an old painting, bringing out the view step by step and the colours one by one, so much green brought to life by blue.

Sounds build up slowly, seagulls first with night drivers nibbling in the distance, sounds like the waves of the ocean builds to a noise familiar and reassuring.

We’re up, ready and refreshed for the day, feeling new looking back over old.
