Sunrise 19 February - Anna Harvatt

We often say that life flies at a hundred miles an hour.  But the calm of watching the sunrise showed me that life feels to pass before our eyes because we let it.  We don’t take the time to be in the here and now and appreciate what is provided for us.

As the sun appeared not even Storm Eunice could dampen its glory.  Its warmth and light felt incredible.  Slowly and gently lighting up a city I am proud to call home.

The views, the peace, the warmth: so familiar yet so new.  What an incredible experience.

Thank you Freedom Festival, proving once more that the notion and reality of freedom wears many hats and is an individual experience.
