Sunrise 17 October - Denise Middleton

What a privilege.  I signed up for this a week after I retired.  I thought, why not?  Start as you mean to go on. 

The first thing I noticed after entering the Box was the noise of the gulls and wind.  Unfortunately, due to cloud cover I didn’t see the sun but watched as gradually lights went out to the east and west.  I took in the skyline of the different buildings and Queen’s Gardens, how different this will look once the work is finished but still, the great man himself, William Wilberforce, will stand guard.

I would love to do this every day as every day would be different.  Thank you for the opportunity.
