Sunrise 16 April - Lauren Sugden

What a wonderful way to start the day in this beautiful city!  So peaceful and quiet, yet so many things happening when you take the time to stop and watch.  How many things go unnoticed because we are rushing around thinking of past and future, rather than now?  The vigil gave me a new perspective on how the sun rises and allowed me time to reflect on the wonderful ‘constant’ that sunrise is.  No matter what is going on, the sun will always rise (even if it is hidden behind the clouds!).  I am very grateful to have been a vigil in the City of Hull – thank you.
