Sunrise 15 August 2021 - LUCY CAREW

Wow! An amazing, unique, peaceful, calming experience.  So entrancing to see the sun rise over a city I now call my home.  I thought my mind would wander to my busy life, but it didn’t – it stayed in the now.  I found myself drawn to other people, going about their daily life wondering why they were up at 5.30 am!  I kept thinking about if they could see me and then how many people were watching me and I had no idea.  It was great to pick out landmarks I could recognise and others I have never seen before.

 I was surprised at all the residential properties in the centre of Hull – I really had no idea.  Such a humbling experience – thank you.
